Delta Sky Club Nashville (BNA) Review: Southern Charm

Worth Coming to Airport Early For: YES

Better Than The Terminal? YES

Introduction

After a quick work trip down to Nashville, it was time to fly back home to NYC. Because I was flying Delta, I was able to access the Delta SkyClub via my Amex Platinum card. Long story short, it’s an awesome, surprisingly large lounge worth visiting if you’re in Nashville.

In this post, you’ll find:

Access & How to Get In

The Sky Club at Nashville Airport (BNA) is currently open at the following hours (subject to holidays / changes):

Every Day: 4:15am – 7:30pm

I accessed the lounge using my American Express Platinum card, which I highly recommend getting if you’re in the market for a premium travel card (for a lot of people, it will literally pay you money to keep it, even post-fee). As a reminder, Amex Platinum cardholders as of February 2025 are only allowed 10 visits per year to Delta Sky Clubs (unless you spend >$75,000 per year on the card). I’m just a casual Delta flyer, so not a problem for me.

In order to access this lounge with the Amex Platinum, you must be flying on Delta the same day (excluding basic economy – regular economy is fine, though), and within 3 hours of departure. Guests are allowed at a charge of $50 per person.

Of course, there’s plenty of other ways to access Delta Sky Clubs. Main other entry methods include (but are not limited to): single day passes, Sky Club Membership, if you’re flying in Delta One / SkyTeam Premium cabin, and Delta SkyMiles Reserve Cards (Personal and Business).

Where to Find the Lounge in the Airport

The lounge is located in Concourse B of Nashville Airport (BNA). Nashville Airport is super convenient, in that there’s only one large terminal (I’m looking at you, JFK).

I was kind of shocked – Nashville airport is extremely nice and modern. At least for US airport standards. The main security hall is bright with extremely tall ceilings.

To find the lounge, walk over towards the B gates.

After a short walk, you’ll find the entrance to the Sky Club.

Check-in required a quick scan of my boarding pass and showing my Amex Platinum, and then I was all set to enter.

Lounge Tour & Amenities

The lounge itself is quite big for a relatively small airport – 13,500 square feet with capacity for up to 275 guests. It was relatively empty the Friday morning I visited at ~8am. It was very nice to not have an overcrowded lounge for once. I’m sure it helps that this is a fairly large space relative to the size of Nashville Airport and Delta Traffic here.

Delta Sky Club BNA Entrance Area

The lounge is structured into two main areas: a quieter section towards the entrance, and then a large room with airport views and the main buffet and drinks station.

In the main room, there’s great views of the tarmac by the window. On the other side, there’s the bar with a full spread of beer, wine, cocktails and spirits. Some drinks are free, while Delta does charge cash or Skypesos for their “premium” drinks selection. It was 8am when I visited, so I did not partake.

The lounge itself is beautiful, and still looks very new, even 2 years after its last renovation. It has the same general feel as other Delta Sky Clubs – nice hotel lobby? Regardless, it’s nice, so I’m not complaining.

On to the most important part – the food. The buffet spread was very good the morning I visited, featuring Southern breakfast biscuits and an assortment of other good food. They even had chia seed pudding, which I thought was awesome. There was a mix of buffet and individual grab-and-go items, which I’m a big fan of.

The drink spread was also great. There are two drink stations in the lounge, one adjacent to the main buffet and one in the quieter section by the entrance.

The lounge has Starbucks on tap, which is a nice touch.

There’s even a giant wine fridge, if that’s you’re thing. It was 8am, so I did not partake.

And last but not least, bathrooms were standard, and very clean.

And here’s the smaller drinks station by the entrance, which still has a full spread of anything you’d need.

Conclusion

All in all, the Sky Club in Nashville is incredibly nice, especially for being at a relatively small airport. The lounge is massive with great food and drinks, and I’d definitely recommend carving some time ahead of your flight to spend here if you can swing it. I’d come back just for the breakfast biscuits.
