North Worth It: Santiago Airport (SCL): Salones VIP Pacific Club Review

Worth Coming to Airport Early For: NO.

Better Than The Terminal? YES.

This lounge is something, but it ain’t great. En route to Easter Island, I thought this could be a good place to hang out ahead of my flight. This lounge is in Terminal 1 at SCL, which serves their domestic flights only.

Location-wise in the airport, the lounge entrance is the first thing you’ll see post-security.

The lounge itself is rather… meh?

One big room. Futuristic dentist office?

The lounge is basically one giant room. There wasn’t much in terms of views outside, and the seating was kind of funky too. The breakfast spread didn’t look too appetizing either. They had some fresh fruit though, which was nice.

Breakfast spread

I didn’t mind because I was so excited to head out to Easter Island, but in reality, time was probably better served walking around Santiago during this hour.

Extended food spread

One upside of the lounge though is they had really solid Italian Coffee machines, and the espresso was especially good. Other than that though, I’d skip this lounge when visiting Santiago Airport. There are actually better lounges even within Terminal 1, which I checked out after (they hide the good stuff closer to the gates).

Actually solid coffee from this fancy Italian machine
